PCFix offers warranty for all repairs and the warranty is as stated below:
All laptops and desktops with Motherboard repairs come with an automatic 3 month warranty from the date of delivery.
If the laptop is within warranty we reserve the right to proceed with a warranty repair.
If the consumer does not wish to proceed with the repair we can offer an alternative arrangement met between PCFIX Ltd Management and the consumer.
If the machine/device is out of warranty, we are unable to repair free of cost and will be charged at a full rate.
PCFix reserves the right to be liable for only the repair service paid by the customer. We will not be liable for any other repair apart from the repair completed by PCFix Ltd.
Any repair that is booked in with PCFix must be paid in full otherwise we are unable to release the product.
If the product is not paid in full within 90 days, we remain the right to resell or destroy the item and will not be able to be returned after the 90 day period unless an agreement has been made with PCFix Ltd management.
PCFix may take up to 28 Days to repair hardware repairs. We may take up to 14 days for software repairs.
Any repairs sent to our lab cannot be cancelled. By approving the repair verbally you have bound yourself to a verbal contract to pay for the service and will have to pay unless disclosed with PCFix Management. Management reserve the right to disapprove of the cancellation of the repair.
Any customer returning an item to PCFix Ltd must have proof of purchase. Without the receipt we cannot deliver the item.
Any goods or services purchased from PCFix Ltd that are deemed faulty by the consumer must be returned to PCFix’s premises at Unit 57A, The Harvey Centre, Harlow, CM20 1XR for testing and diagnosis.
Any warranty we may offer in respect of goods we have manufactured, assembled or supplied shall be rendered void if any seal on the goods is broken, if any unauthorised repairs have been attempted or effected, if the goods have been mishandled or damaged or if any inappropriate third party software has been installed.
Any customer returning an item to PCFix Ltd as faulty must have proof of purchase. Without the receipt we cannot track the transaction.
We are not responsible for any loss of data or corruption of software on your PC / Laptop or Server whilst it is in our care for the purpose of effecting a repair or upgrade. It is your responsibility to back up all your data prior to releasing your equipment to us.
In the event we are assigned to undertake data recovery on your behalf, we will endeavour to back up all available data as requested but we are not responsible for any data loss or corrupted data. It is your responsibility to back up all your data prior to releasing your equipment to us.
PCFix Ltd is only liable for data loss if the consumer has requested the data backup service which only covers the consumer’s personal data if recoverable. No programs can be saved or transferred and we will not be liable to replace any software prior to the repair.
Any orders made by PCFix for the consumer has to be paid in full and cannot be returned unless faulty or not as described. The consumer has agreed to a verbal contract that binds them to collect and or pay for the item.
Any item ordered especially cannot be returned if the consumer has a change of heart and does not wish to keep the product.
Any customer collecting an item to PCFix Ltd must have proof of purchase. Without the receipt we cannot deliver the item.
Warranty on all laptops are set by price; All products come with a 6 Month.
The warranty stated covers hardware and is not covered by accidental damage.
If at any time we believe the laptop/desktop purchased to have been opened or modified in any way, it will not be covered and the warranty will be void.
If in the event of any repair needed after the warranty period, we have the right to charge full price for any repair.
We do not cover software after it has been modified in any way after it has left the store.
For warranty repairs we reserve the right to proceed with a repair which can take up to 4 weeks. Exchanges are available up to 14 days from receipt date but only if the item is faulty, uninflicted by accidental damage.
Any laptop or desktop that is covered by warranty will be taken for diagnosis automatically and can take up to 4 working days.
Any customer returning an item to PCFix Ltd under warranty must have proof of purchase. Without the receipt we cannot track the transaction.
Returns can be made to PCFix Ltd only if the item is unused. If the original packaging is damaged or torn, we reserve the right to decline the return.
Returns are only available 7 days after the receipt and certain items may be exempt from the 7 day return period.
Credit notes are available but there may be a handling fee of 20% from the sale date. We reserve the right to refer to the terms and conditions in the event of any return.
Laptops and desktops have to be diagnosed and a claim processed through PCFix Mangement if the item has been used. Any faults must be reported as soon as they are found so we can deal with the matter according to the terms and conditions.

Selling items to PCFix Ltd
When selling used items to PCFix you must have at least 2 proofs of ID. (Bank Statement, Debit Card, Driving licence, Birth Certificate or passport)
When you sell an item to PCFix you are confirming that you own the item and that after transaction the item will remain the property of PCFix Ltd until the item is sold.
We have to test all electrical goods that are being sold to PCFix as faulty items cannot be bought unless confirmed as faulty by seller.
Once the item is sold to us you cannot have a change of heart and try to buy back the item you sold to PCFix until at least 30 days of receipt date.
If you wish to buy back an item after the 30 day period, you will have to pay the full amount advertised for the item.
Any items being sold to us cannot have a price change after agreed. The prices we give are fixed and cannot be questioned.
PCFix Ltd will not tolerate rude or offensive behaviour within our store or over the phone.
We remain the right to terminate any call if the caller is aggressive, slanderous or rude to any PCFix employee.
Any customer threatening, rude, slanderous or offensive will be removed by security immediately and can be cautioned or banned from entering the store.
PCFix Ltd remain the right to abide by these terms and conditions at all times, this does not affect your statutory rights.
